How to help?
The recycling center will not only serve as a community recycling center, but also as an educational center to promote sustainability and recycling throughout the university.
What do we accept?
We accept recyclables such as papers, aluminium and plastic bottles which will be collected every week. The recyclables will be sold to respective recycling companies. 30% of the profit generated will be donated to charity while the remaining will be the main source for the upkeep of the facility.
What do we promote?
The 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse and Recycling. Recycling is always the last option in waste management. We conduct several workshops educating the public to reduce and reuse waste before coming to the last resort: Recycling.
